Dance of the Fairies

A peculiar place

Brought here by my wandering feet

Have I slipped into a dream

I must consider it, for what I see is this

Dancing among the greenery

Ever so lightly, to a melody I cannot hear

Gentle faces and delicate wings

Glittering dust casts a glow as warm as fire

In the moonlight and mist, never more enchanting

On an evening such as this

Keen to believe my eyes I pinch myself

Oh how I wish, I wish that I could be

Just as them

If only half as joyous—half as carefree
