Good Things

Writer's picture: Red Writing HoodRed Writing Hood

I keep forgetting that there is good in the world. So in order to remind myself, and you if you need it, I've listed a bunch of things that are good in the world.

⦁ People who make music and share it for free.

⦁ The sound of rain against the window.

⦁ The way sand feels underneath your bare feet.

⦁ The smell of the ocean.

⦁ The combination of apples and cinnamon.

⦁ A fluffy robe after a warm shower.

⦁ Coming home and closing the door behind you after an arduous day.

⦁ Salmon and dille.

⦁ Classical music.

⦁ Watching tea through a glass cup slowly infuse the steaming hot water.

⦁ That moment when your head finally hits the pillow.

⦁ Snow that hasn't been walked on yet.

⦁ Spotting wildlife.

⦁ That feeling when the airplane gains speed for takeoff.

⦁ Getting a genuine compliment from a total stranger.

⦁ Climbing a mountain.

⦁ Trying out a new recipe and it actually turning out exactly as it was supposed to.

⦁ Studio Ghibli movies.

⦁ A bouquet of fresh flowers.
